One Response to “How do I delete desktop wallpapers and screensavers?”
Depends…
Did you download some screen-saver/desktop (install) images?
If so, you probably have unwittingly also installed spy-ware. If they were installed, you can go to control panel, Add/remove programs and remove them. However, you still will not get the “attached” spy-ware removed…After de-installing, download lavasoft ad-aware SE personal and clean up!
If there are wall paper images you wish to get rid of, you will find them in the c:\windows\ dir usually as a “.bmp” but could also be a “.jpg”. Find and delete! They may also be in the c:\windows\system32 dir and also in that directory, look for files ending in “.scr”. These are the screen-saver program/files…
